Job Vacancy. Centre Manager

After many years of service, the time has come for Lee to move on. This offers an exciting opportunity for a new centre manager.

Situated on the North Shore of Skegness, X-Site Skatepark is a purpose built extreme sports centre opened by the Lincolnshire Extreme Sports Association in 2006. The Association operates as a registered charity and the facility consists of an indoor and outdoor skatepark catering for skateboarding, BMX, scooters and inline skating. Also located within the park are a café franchise and retail shop.

As Centre Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the centre including health and safety, customer care, financial and marketing procedures and leading other members of staff. The post does include evening and weekend working. Flexibility and a commitment to customer service are fundamental to the role.

The successful applicant must have previous management experience along with excellent organisational and communication skills, awareness of modern marketing techniques, including social media and also have experience of event co-ordination.

Previous knowledge within the extreme sports industry is desirable but not essential as training in all aspects of this role can be provided.

We are currently in the final stages of delivering Phase 4 of the project which involves addition of new facilities which will offer users a wider range of activities. Overseeing the completion of this centre expansion is a key aspect of the role.

As Centre Manager you will be encouraged to try and develop new ideas to increase revenue and will also be responsible for seeking out and applying for grant funding to help enable these ideas to be made a reality.
